Robert Pattinson talks his rescue dog, Bear on Regis and Kelly in 2011 while promoting 'Breaking Dawn'

On November 5, 2011, Robert Pattinson appeared on "Live! With Regis and Kelly" where he promoted his then upcoming film "Breaking Dawn part 1."

During the interview, he spoke about his rescue dog Bear. He picked up the rescue dog in Louisiana and Pattinson described him as his first dog.

"He was from this like horrible shelter, just a few hours outside of Baton Rouge, in Louisiana."

Kelly Ripa interjected, "That dog hit the jackpot!"

Pattinson continued to explain that it was a "kill" shelter that euthanizes animals after they stay approximately one week.

Pattinson revealed his love for Bear and stated that he has brought him on the road with him as much as possible and even said he has "smuggled" him on trips.

He even spoke about how people frequently ask if Bear is a rescue (it's kind of hard not to notice as Bear does not have a distinctive designer or even full-breed look, but is obviously a much-loved mutt). Pattinson's response to those people is, "Stop being so judgmental!"

While Kristen Stewart, Pattinson's co-star and real life girlfriend, never publicly admitted her relationship with Pattinson until after her summer fling with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, many photos and videos hit the web in 2011 showing Stewart walking Bear.

In an interview with Stewart on November 2, 2012, Stewart referred to Bear as "her dog."

I guess it's rather obvious these two are back together and enjoying not one, but two pets- Bear and Bernie!
